About MapCheck

MapCheck turns New South Wales Government planning and environmental data into plain-English property reports - so you know what rules apply to a piece of land before you buy, sell, develop or manage it.

What we do

We screen more than 140 NSW Government datasets against any cadastral lot and explain what they mean for the property: zoning and permitted uses, native vegetation clearing categories, bushfire and flood overlays, biodiversity values and offset potential, native title, land capability and carrying capacity, and more. It comes back as a single plain-English PDF, on demand, for any property in New South Wales.

Independent and data-driven

MapCheck is independent and not affiliated with any government agency. Every report is drawn from NSW Government spatial data and presented plainly, so you can see what is on a title without wading through the source maps and legislation yourself. A report is an indicative screening to inform your decisions - it is not legal, planning or valuation advice.
